Marketing Projects
Need a customer testimonial video filmed, a new tradeshow booth designed, or a product launched within a specific segment of the horticulture market? We’re here to help. With every project, we aim to gain a deep understanding of your business, offer strategic advice on the best approach, and execute with the goal of creating solutions that push the boundaries of the industry.
Examples of marketing projects:
Tradeshows
We already have a booth builder and the whole process defined, but we just need a new booth design. Can you help?
Yes, absolutely. We can review your previous booth design and discuss your vision for the new one. From there, we’ll quickly provide a proposal that aligns with your goals, budget, and the specific requirements of shows like IPM, GreenTech, MJBizCon, and others.
We’re exhibiting at IPM/GreenTech/Fruit Logistica for the first time. Can you handle the entire process?
Yes. Working with our trusted external partners, who we’ve collaborated with for nearly a decade, we can manage the entire process—from booth design and setup to product logistics. We’ll also take care of printing marketing materials, arranging equipment like TV screens, preparing video content from your footage, and assisting with pre- and post-show marketing if needed.
We’re unsure which show is right for us. Can you advise where we should exhibit?
Yes, we can help. Let us know the market you’re targeting and your budget, and we’ll recommend the best trade shows for your goals. We can guide you through global, regional and national events within the horticulture sector.
Product launches and campaigns
We have a product for vertical farms/irrigation companies/breeders/seed companies and need the CTO/CEO/grower/purchasing manager/sustainability officer to hear about it. Can you help?
Yes. We start by building a custom prospect list of key individuals who should hear about your product. Depending on the specific subsegment of the horticulture market, we primarily approach them via LinkedIn. For example, vertical farmers are active on LinkedIn, while greenhouse growers may require alternative approaches such as email, direct mail, local trade shows, or cold calls by your sales team. The strategy will also depend on whether your product is a category disruptor, an incremental improvement, or a ‘me-too’ solution, as this affects the marketing tactics. If you’re interested in a more comprehensive campaign, we can supplement it with digital and print advertising, or even a product launch webinar.
We want to raise our brand awareness. Can you help?
Yes. Depending on the size of the market segment you’re targeting and the budget available, we use tailored tactics and channels. Horticulture is a large global market, yet also highly interconnected. We assist with planning, material development, campaign execution, and analytics, and we’ll agree upfront on success metrics such as website visits, social media engagement, or document downloads. While we can’t guarantee specific outcomes like a set number of new visitors, we can ensure that your brand message is placed in front of everyone who should hear it in the most cost-efficient way—and within a short timeframe.
Print and digital marketing materials
Can you manage all our marketing material updates?
Yes. We can review all your collateral, discuss the frequency of updates, and streamline the editing process to ensure a quick and efficient workflow.
We’ve just rebranded, but we still have a backlog of marketing materials that need updating. Can you help?
Yes. We’ll review all your remaining materials and provide you with a quick time and cost estimate for the updates.
What kind of digital materials do you work with?
We can create a wide range of digital assets, including banners, social media visuals, animations, PowerPoint presentations, and more.
Do you handle materials like branded merchandise, corporate gifts, custom tradeshow stands, stickers, illuminated signs, etc.?
Yes. We have experience with all of these. If you need help with something less typical, we’re happy to discuss it and see how we can support your needs.
Photos, videos and 3D renders
We need product photos against a white background for use across all our marketing materials. Can you help?
Yes. We work with studio photography partners in several European countries and can help you find one locally.
We have some photos that need editing to make them more marketing-ready or to remove/modify objects in them. Can you help?
Yes. We can quickly handle edits to improve your photos, making them suitable for marketing use (the so-called ‘photoshopping’).
We need a customer testimonial video filmed in XYZ country. Can you help?
Yes. We’ve filmed in the US and across Europe, primarily in greenhouses and vertical farms. When possible, we travel with our filming partners from Finland, but we can also source local teams to reduce costs. Based on your budget, we can craft a video solution that meets your needs—just let us know what you’re aiming for, and we’ll recommend the best approach.
We have existing videos that need editing for a tradeshow TV screen, social media posts, or an upcoming webinar. Can you help?
Yes. We can take your existing videos, images, or stock footage and create the desired final video for your specific needs.
What kind of 3D modeling do you offer?
We use STEP files of your products to create photorealistic 3D renders. These can often replace traditional photography, as it’s more cost-effective to edit 3D renders for small updates rather than reshooting in a studio. 3D renders also offer a sleek, modern look and are widely used to present products. Beyond still images, we can create animations—often the best way to explain how a product works.
Branding
We want to refresh our brand and place more emphasis on updated brand values. Can you help?
Yes. We start by discussing what your brand stands for and its primary audience. From there, we dig deeper to understand the essence of your brand, then develop a visual system that resonates with your target market and outshines the competition.
We have a multi-brand hierarchy and want to update one part of the brand system. Can you help?
Yes. Multi-brand systems can be complex, often involving parent companies or licensed technologies. With these projects, clarity and simplicity are key. It’s common in marketing, and we follow clear guidelines to ensure a cohesive brand look and feel. Let’s discuss how we can assist.
We’re planning a comprehensive rebrand with a long list of materials to update. Can you help?
Yes. Reach out to us, and we’ll review your rebrand goals, the volume of materials to be updated, and your timelines. Rebrands are complex and often emotional processes, so they require a disciplined approach and strategic thinking. We’re happy to have a conversation about your brand identity and how we can support your rebrand journey.
Websites
We need a new website. How does the process work?
We begin by identifying the type of website you need—whether it’s a simple presentation site, an e-commerce platform, or one with dynamic features like calculators or intranet capabilities. Next, we estimate the scope: how many pages you’ll need and how much existing content you have versus what needs to be created (texts, photos, icons, videos, etc.). We’ll also discuss platforms, such as whether you’re happy with your current hosting or prefer a change.
Once the foundation is set, we create initial mockups to align with your desired look and feel. After approval, we develop a full-site mockup and work with you to refine the content, visuals, and messaging. The website is then built and tested in a staging environment, where only you and our team can see it. After final checks and alignment with your marketing schedule, we’ll launch the site.
Websites typically take 1.5 to 3 months or longer to complete, depending on complexity. By default, they are optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile, and adhere to SEO best practices. Content can come from you or be developed by us. We usually work with WordPress, as it meets the needs of most horticulture businesses.
We want to launch a landing page to capture leads. Can you help?
Yes. We can create a landing page that reflects your existing website’s look and feel, using either your content or content we develop for you. We follow best practices for landing pages, including prominent calls-to-action, multiple contact forms, and fast loading speeds.
We like our website but need additional functionality. Can you help?
Yes. Let us know what functionality you need, whether it’s transforming an Excel-based ROI calculator into a web feature, creating a knowledge center for your marketing materials, or building a secure section for distributors to log in and access private content. We can discuss the best approach to enhance your site.
Monthly Retainers
Many companies rely on external marketing partners to fill in gaps or manage their entire marketing function. Marketing is a broad field, and in-house teams often struggle to cover everything—social media, tradeshows, press releases, website maintenance, and more. That’s why outsourcing part, or even all, of your marketing to a trusted external partner can be a smart move.
With our monthly retainers, we collaborate to define the scope of work and estimate workloads based on your needs.
Some examples of retainer packages include:
- Social media management + 10 hours of general marketing support
- 30 hours of general marketing support
- Management of tradeshows, conferences, and webinars throughout the year
- Creation of all marketing collateral, both print and digital (brochures, roll-ups, presentations, etc.)
